Driving back from Memphis yesterday it was nasty. It was raining cats, dogs and small cattle most of the way home. I have but one simple question: Do the crazy drivers sit at home praying for rain so they can go out and play???? I saw a few off the side of the road, one spin out right in front of me, but mostly I saw crazy careless driving. A Yaris tailgating a semi truck at 75 mph, no more than 8 feet between them. Don’t they know that Yaris’ slide??? Hit the brakes on a Yaris at 75 mph some time in 1 inch of rain. You will be lucky to stop 100 yards down the road, unless of course you have a semi truck parked in front of you. But then maybe that was the plan. Hope they have gap insurance on that car.
Speaking of insurance, there’s no doubt why our car insurance is so high, when crazies like that get the right to drive too. Its bad enough they wanna eat the bumper off the semi, but it would be nice if they would be more considerate of the rest of us out there too. We wanna get home to our families after a long road trip. Them locking up the interstate so we can pry them out of that sardine can under the semi is a bit inconsiderate.
