Tucked right off the beaten path in central Ky, the Salato Center and Game farm are a slice of Kentucky you don't want to miss. It's totally free, open 6 days a week and so much fun. Inside you will find live exhibits of many of Ky's home grown best plant and wild life. There are two stocked fishing lakes, one for kids only! Here you can see live buffalo, bobcats, bears and even bald eagles! I had the week off to help with the kids while my wife recovers from her surgery. After a day at the Salato Center it occurred to me that I don't even have to travel to see some of best attractions in the states! Just a couple miles from home, we've got it all.
My husband and I are also discovering that there are attractions for us to visit in our home state. Hope your wife gets well soon.
